Responding to customer requirements
The Xerox 3050 Engineering Copier establishes new standards for
operator convenience, point-of-need productivity, operability and media
flexibility in producing presentation-quality copies of
engineering documents. The new, mid-volume engineering
copier represents Xerox Engineering Systems' ongoing commitment to
developing solutions that address customer requirements. You no longer
have to settle for machines with too few features or too much capacity.
With the Xerox 3050 Engineering Copier, you get exactly the combination
of features, productivity and value that is needed for mid-volume
reproduction. |
|
Features, productivity and value for mid-volume
requirements
The Xerox 3050 Engineering Copier is the new benchmark for
productivity, value and user convenience, offering:
-
A three-roll media supply - means fewer interruptions
during large copying jobs, even less with its exclusive
automatic media switchover feature that feeds media from next
available roll when in-place roll is depleted
-
A built-in auditron with a 250 account capacity to record
copies by specific job or project; its copy inhibit feature
ensures that only the necessary copies are produced
-
Dual-language message display simplifies operation with
prompts for every step in the copying process
-
Multiple copies (up to 15) from a single original onto
plain paper, vellum and drafting film
-
Presentation-quality copies from rigid originals up to
1/8" thickness
-
Easy installation into any point-of-need environment with
its small footprint, attractive appearance, quiet operation and
rich feature set that uses 115 VAC/20 amp power

Maximize productivity with the right solution - the
Xerox 3050 |
|
Mid-volume usage, maximum performance
With the Xerox 3050, you can produce engineering documents as small
as 8 112" x 1 1" or as large as 36" by any manageable length. In
multimode, the Xerox 3050 can deliver six D-size (24" x 36") copies per
minute; three E-size ( 36" x 48") in one minute. The Xerox 3050 improves
the document work process to keep projects on schedule. |
|
Improve productivity
The Xerox 3050 enhances productivity in engineering reproduction
departments and in shared user environments. The machine eliminates
bottlenecks because of its brief warm-up and less than 20 second first-
copy-out time. The Xerox 3050 is available to use whenever you need it. |
|
High quality engineering copies
The Xerox 3050 uses a clean, environ- mentally responsible
xerographic process to deliver superior quality copies - consistently.
This engineering copier reproduces sharply defined lines and excellent
resolution. High-contrast copies are produced consistently from almost
any original.
The Xerox 3050 accepts opaque and translucent originals,
including bluelines, sepias, drafting film, vellurns and
composites up to 118" thickness. And the 3050 copy quality is good
enough to go from original to print in one step. You can even revive
old, faded originals to like- new condition. |
|
Media flexibility
The Xerox 3050 Engineering Copier sets a new industry standard for
media versatility. Original drawings, bluelines, and cut-and-tape
composites may be reproduced autornatically onto your choice of bond,
vellum or film media. Three active media rolls (36" x 500' for bond and
vellum; 36" x 150' for polyester film) are fed automatically to ensure
non-stop productivity. You can also use a manual bypass feature for
special media requirements.
The Xerox 3050 goes to great lengths to produce copies
in just the right size. In auto-length mode, the Xerox 3050
automatically matches print length to that of the original, delivering
size-for-size copies. |
|
Easy to operate
The Xerox 3050's swivel-mounted control offers simle operation. The
control panel is easily accessible and displays dual-language commands
with straightforwared graphics. The partial copy feature allows
only a portion of the original to be copied instead of the entire
document. Why waste time and media copying more information than
required?
The recall feature automatically restores the
feature settings from the previous copy job. Using the manual cut
feature, you can window any section of a document as small as 10
inches long, enabling you to inspect image quality before you generate
copies. Overall, teh Xerox 3050 provides teh copying convenience you've
always wanted for mid-volume reproduction. |
|
Document stacker
An optional document stacker is available with the Xerox 3050 to
help reproduce sets of multi-sheet documents. The document stacker keeps
orginial documents neatly stacked out of the way while the job is in
progress. |
